Recently, Strother Communications Group was pleased to welcome Elena Radionova, the world’s second-ranked women’s figure skater, and Riedell Skates, one of our oldest clients, to our offices in downtown Minneapolis.
Though only 16, Elena is already accomplished in figure skating, having brought home a bronze medal in the 2015 World Figure Skating Championships, a silver medal in the 2015 European Figure Skating Championships and first place at the Russian nationals. Her prowess and grace on the ice has marked her as one of the skaters to watch in the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea.
Her talent and dedication has earned her acclaim in international skating circles, and she’s recently signed on as an official endorser of Riedell, the world leader in ice skates. She joins Team Riedell’s roster of professional and amateur skaters, which includes legends like Johnny Weir and Kurt Browning.
While in Minnesota, Elena, her father Igor and her translator Anna got a tour of the Riedell factory, took in a Twins game at Target Field, and visited SCG to discuss how we could help expand her partnership with Riedell, social media presence and personal brand. We also introduced her to the joys of Minneapolis’ hottest bakery, Glam Doll Donuts. With her talent and engaging personality, she’s a star in the making.
